This is the group of people who are involved with the care of the patient. It can be other family members, home health aides or a close friend.

How do I add someone to my Care Team?2022-02-02T16:48:34+00:00

If you are on the home page, simply click “Add someone to my team” and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, you can do this from the Care Team page, which can be found as follows:

  1. Go to the “Care Panel” on the app’s navigation bar
  2. Tap “Care Team” 
  3. Tap the “+” button
  4. Generate and send them a referral link via email or text message 

When the invited person creates an account, they will be automatically added to your Care Team. If you have multiple Care Teams, the person will be added to the Care Team from which you initiated the referral link. 

I would like to track my own health. Can I use Carederly?2022-02-02T16:48:34+00:00

Yes! Simply click on register here and follow the prompts. If you are already registered, you can go to the hamburger menu (in the mobile view), select “Track a new person’s health” and follow the prompts.

Can I be a part of multiple Care Teams?2022-02-02T16:48:35+00:00

Yes, you can. When you receive an invitation to join a new Care Team, you will automatically be added to the new Care Team without losing your membership of any existing Care Teams.

You can see all the Care Teams you are part of by tapping the hamburger menu in the upper left corner. By selecting a name on the panel that becomes visible, you will be able to view the selected person’s health information.

Can I have multiple Care Teams?2022-02-02T16:48:36+00:00

Yes, you can. In the mobile view, go to the upper left corner and click on the hamburger menu. Select “Track a new person’s health” and follow the prompts.

Once I delete a Care Team member, will they continue to see my or my patient’s information?2022-02-02T16:48:36+00:00

No. That is why we have the concept of the Care Team – it is to control who gets to see and contribute to your private health information.

Can I download the app from the Google PlayStore or Apple App Store?2022-02-02T16:48:34+00:00

Not at this time. However, you can install a shortcut to the app (which will look like an app) on your mobile home screen.

How do I install the app?2022-02-02T16:48:35+00:00

Tap the hamburger menu on the upper left corner and then “Install Carederly”. If you are on an Android device, this will automatically create an icon on your mobile home screen.

If you are on an iOS device, there are a few steps, which must be done on the Safari browser:

  1. Click on the hamburger menu (upper left corner)
  2. Select “Install Carederly”
  3. From Safari’s navigation bar (where the back/forward buttons are), tap the icon with the box and the arrow coming out of it (generally in the middle of Safari’s nav bar). This will pop up a menu
  4. Scroll down the menu and tap on the “Add to home screen” option –> this will create an icon on your home screen to the app.

Why am I not receiving reminders?2022-02-02T16:59:19+00:00

You need to enable notifications for your account. Notifications are currently via SMS (text message) to a verified phone number. To enable notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the hamburger menu on the upper left corner
  2. Tap on “My profile”
  3. Tap on “Notification preferences”
  4. Turn on “Are SMS notifications enabled?”
How do I add and verify my phone number?2022-02-02T17:07:34+00:00

First, your phone number needs to be added to your profile. Go to the upper left hamburger menu -> “My profile” -> Edit (the pencil icon in the upper right corner) -> Add your phone number. Be sure to enter your phone number with the country code (e.g., +1 (###) ###-####).

Next, click on “Not verified” from your profile page -> “Send me a verification code” -> Enter the verification code you will receive via SMS (text message).
